Hear it From Our Guests
I was incredibly impressed with the Untraversed team’s commitment to supporting local communities and promoting socially responsible travel.
I normally don’t do group tours, but the small team of experienced travelers on my trip with Untraversed were an awesome crew to experience this amazing land with!
My time with Untravered was truly the adventure of a lifetime, and I was incredibly grateful for Jonathan taking the time to answer all my questions as I prepared for my trip.
I was not sure what to think before coming to Pakistan, but after a day of traveling with my guide Sajjid I was amazed by the hospitality of this amazing land.
Mohsin, our Untraversed trip leader, was the best guide ever! While taking us on visits to local villages, Mohsin was always right on time to offer helpful advice and share insights into local culture.

Pakistan Tour FAQs
The areas where we run our Pakistan tours are very stable and safe, and the Hunza Valley has one of the lowest crime rates in South Asia. Traveling in epic destinations like Pakistan comes with inherent risks, with reckless driving being one of the most real threats to your safety. Look both ways before attempting to cross the street!
Our team does not arrange visas directly, rather we provide extensive support throughout your visa application process. We will send you a Letter of Invitation and then provide detailed instructions to guide you through applying via the Pakistani e-visa portal.
There are traditional dairy and meat-free dishes in all of the cities where we offer tours in Pakistan, but selection will be limited at times. We always manage to arrange at least one vegan option at the places where we stay, and Pakistani hospitality will definitely never let you go hungry!
Female guests should wear loose-fitting clothing that covers their arms and legs in the major cities and a head scarf when entering mosques, but in the northern valleys of the Hunza region Western dress is totally acceptable. On day one of your Pakistan tour you will have a chance to purchase local Pakistani clothing.
We require travel insurance for all Untraversed tours to Pakistan. Our team can recommend travel issuance options as we help you prepare for your trip, or you can pick your own provider as well. We do not offer travel insurance as part of our Pakistan tour packages.
In major cities like Islamabad and Lahore, you may find an ATM that accepts your card, but the safest option is to bring USD or Euros to exchange in Pakistan.
You will be able to purchase a SIM card on the first day of your tour, but after heading to the mountains mobile data will often be nonexistent. Wi-Fi at the hotels in the Northern areas is usually available, but it is slow and often cuts out. Mobile data and wifi in major cities such as Islamabad and Lahore is generally reliable.
