We first met Raju on a bus ride across northern Nepal while he was guiding a group of travelers on a journey into the Langtang region near Tibet. Maintaining a contagious smile in every situation, Raju has been showing guests around untraversed regions of northern Nepal for as long as he can remember. After having the privilege of spending a week on the trail with Raju, we have come to the conclusion that he must know every single Sherpa and tea house owner in Nepal. When not leading treks and tours, Raju lives with his wife and kids in his childhood village of Bhase in northern Nepal.
