Jonathan has spent the last decade leading expeditions to the least traveled corners of the planet while pursuing socially and environmentally responsible travel. Growing up in the adventure travel industry, Jonathan’s resume includes serving as a ski mountaineering guide, whitewater rafting guide, avalanche risk management, and leading expeditions in the far north. John is most at home when sharing tea or coffee with a newly met friend in some remote mountain valley buried deep in the heart of Central Asia. Amateur anthropologist, lover of local stringed instruments, and relentless pursuer of adventure, John’s passion is providing like-minded travelers with authentic travel experiences through his local partners and friends who call these “untraversed” regions home.
