Job Summary

At Untraversed Travel we bring our guests authentic travel experiences in seldom traveled destinations through locally led small group tours. This position will provide you with the opportunity to create engaging content promoting responsible travel to some of the most picturesque regions on the planet.  All of our online marketing is carried out by one company wide marketing team managed by the Marketing Director. Country specific team members send raw content such photos, video, blog posts, etc on a regular basis to our marketing team. The marketing team is responsible for taking this raw content from the destinations, and then presenting it in a unified and consistent manner on the Untraversed website, social media and marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager handles both the hands on work of web design, social media posts, etc, and the management of both in-house and freelance marketing staff.

Qualifications and Skills

The following skills are not a requirement for being hired for this position. Training will be provided as needed during the initial two months of employment. The applicant must possess excellent written English skills and an aptitude for quickly learning to master new applications and skill sets.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintaining the Untraversed social media accounts 
• Uploading social media posts provided by the destinations
• Uploading blog posts provided by the destinations 
• Writing original social media and blog posts as needed
• Managing video editing projects performed by freelancers
• Email marketing campaigns
• Email list management
• Managing the company website
• Uploading blog posts and Itineraries from the destination
• Designing and ordering physical marketing materials
