Rezwan was born in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan not far from the Pakistan border in the lush green Kunar Valley. After traveling to Pakistan to receive his degree in teaching English, Rezwan returned to Afghanistan when his family moved to Mazar-e-Sharif. Rezwan and his brother are passionately committed to educating the youth of Afghanistan and preserving their rich heritage of Pashto poetry. Possessing an impeccable sense of humor yet professionalism in the face of the unexpected adventures that come with leading trips in Afghanistan, Rezwan is passionate about sharing the story of the Afghan people over kababs and endless rounds of chai.
