Born on the outskirts of Bamyan, Afghanistan, the home of the famous Buddhas in the heart of Hazarajat, Abbas serves on the Untraversed team as an Afghanistan tour leader in training. Currently working to finish his bachelor’s degree in the face of unstable internet and electricity, Abbas is passionate about telling the story of the Hazara people through sharing life and stories with the fortunate guests who have the privilege of visiting him in the Bamyan Valley.
